Unity Childcare offers trusted day care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, with a focus on early learning, confidence-building, and a strong sense of belonging. They are proud to be a community-rooted setting where children are safe, happy, and excited to learn every day.

As an Apprentice Early Years Practitioner, you will gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow the EYFS curriculum
• Meet the individual needs of children
• Maintain learning journals
• Learn to create play plans
• Interact with parents and carers professionally
• Work collaboratively as part of a team

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
