Site Supervisor – Solar PV (Hospital Projects, Bradford)
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of Solar PV and electrical installation projects across multiple hospital sites in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge, proven site management skills, and experience working in live commercial or healthcare environments.
About the Role
You will oversee day‑to‑day site operations across several NHS hospital locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of Solar PV installations and associated electrical works. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and hospital estates teams to maintain smooth progress and compliance with all site protocols.
Key Responsibilities
•
Supervise Solar PV installation works across multiple Bradford hospital sites
•
Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
•
Coordinate subcontractors and site teams
•
Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
•
Manage site documentation, permits, RAMS, and daily records
•
Liaise with hospital estates, project managers, and stakeholders
•
Ensure compliance with hospital procedures and site access requirements
•
Support general site management duties including logistics, materials, and reporting
Requirements
•
Proven experience supervising Solar PV installations (commercial scale preferred)
•
Strong electrical background (qualifications desirable)
•
Experience working in live hospital environments or other complex commercial sites
•
Solid understanding of health & safety, CDM, and site compliance
•
SMSTS or SSSTS certification is essential
•
Excellent communication and organisational skills
•
Ability to manage multiple work fronts across different locations
•
Full UK driving licence
