Crynodeb
The post will be as a full-time 12-month placement as ST6/7 SpR in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at GSTT NHS Foundation Trust, primarily working within the Department of Gynaecological Oncology. The post-holder will get an excellent opportunity to improve their surgical skills in Gynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology. They will gain experience in managing Gynaecological cancer patients by participating in multidisciplinary meetings and managing Oncology patients on the ward and in outpatients. The rota for this post is designed such that there is maximum time spent training with the Gynaecological Oncology team. You will be First on call (with an ST1-2 and an ST3-5) for obstetrics and the first on-call for gynaecology, with consultant at home as part of the trainee rota which is EWTD compliant and has protected time for training. You will be expected to participate on the year ST6-7 rota. To apply you must have MRCOG Part 3 plus at least 36 months experience as a Registrar (ST3-5) in a recognised RCOG unit. Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC. Rota Lines will be allocated based on availability and service demands.
