The dedicated team at The Mount provides excellent support, and care services, and is committed to the continued delivery of this care. This is reinforced by some consistent feedback from those using our services: The team is welcoming, forward thinking and passionate about what they do and the care they give. Person centred care is at the heart of all they do Thanks to all the staff at the Mount for the fantastic care and support given to me and to my family over the last few months. I dont know how Iwould have managed without the care on the ward. I will be forever grateful As Staff Nurse you will be responsible for efficiently co-ordinating and managing day to day care on the ward. You will be a confident role model, providing leadership to a team of support workers and other junior colleagues and students. You will work with service users, families and other carers to assess service user need, develop care plans and implement planned interventions. You must be able to adapt your approach to fit the needs of the individual and be able adjust your routines to the varying tempo of the activities and daily business of the ward. As a Nurse joining our Older Peoples inpatient Service you will have an intrinsic role within the multi-disciplinary team and have a responsibility to contribute to the effective running of the service and future service development. A flexible, innovative and creative approach to care and a commitment to working with & supporting different disciplines as a member of the MDT are essential. The Mount provides a learning environment for students of all disciplines. The post holder should have an enthusiastic and positive attitude towards learners and their development and equally a commitment to their own professional development. You will ensure that our services are provided in a way that is consistent with our values, supporting and promoting an organisational culture which values: innovation, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence. You will be compassionate but assertive, work well within a team and be passionate about providing a high-quality service.
