Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for an FLT Driver to work in their leading facility in Telford.
For the successful FLT Driver our client is offering;
• £13.71 Per hour with £40 per week shift allowance when on nights
• Monday to Friday 06:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM rotating weekly
• Temporary to Permanent position
• In house training for abnormal loads
• Overtime opportunities available
The Role - FLT Driver
• Loading finished goods onto vehicles
• Storing of products into the correct location
• Driving an Electric Forklift
• Ensuring that products are being loaded onto Lorries in a set manner
• Banding of products
• Keeping the Factory/Yard clean and tidy
• 50% On the FLT / 50% Off the FLT and on the shop floor
• Safety Checks
• Checking paperwork
What our client is looking for in a FLT Driver;
• Previous experience as a Counterbalance Driver- ESSENTIAL
• Valid Counterbalance Licence- ESSENTIAL
• Stable Work History - ESSENTIAL
• Must be happy with heavy lifting- ESSENTIAL
• Flexibility with working hours - Sometimes for example if you're loading a lorry then you'd be expected to finish doing this - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience lifting abnormal loads with FLT, as some of the products can be up to 7M - ESSENTIAL
• Must have experience loading/ unloading flatbed trailers- ESSENTIAL
• Must be happy to do picking, packing and dispatch, this is NOT just an FLT role - ESSENTIAL
