FLT Counterbalance Operator - Continental 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)

Pay Rate: £13.54 per hour (with pay increase in February 2026)

Contract Type: Temporary, ongoing

Overview:

This role involves approximately 50% forklift counterbalance operation and 50% general warehousing duties. Candidates must be comfortable switching efficiently between both types of tasks.

Key Requirements:

• Valid, in-date forklift counterbalance licence (in-house licences will not be accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience operating FLTs in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) on a continental 4 on / 4 off pattern
• Comfortable using computer systems, specifically SAP
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks as required

Key Responsibilities:

Forklift Operation (50%):

• Safely operate a forklift counterbalance within the warehouse environment
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas
• Move stock to designated locations following warehouse procedures
• Ensure all forklift operations comply with health and safety standards

Warehousing Duties (50%):

• Pick, pack, and stage products accurately according to orders
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory management
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Use computer systems (e.g., SAP) to log and track stock movements

• This is a temporary, ongoing role
