Job description:

Setting eggs to required numbers as needed for processing.

Crown Farms forms part of the hugely successful Cranswick Plc.

We are looking for a Trainee Hatchery Planner

Working out the number of eggs needed per shed leaving the required number of chicks after hatch.
Managing/Loading transport for both Nestborn deliveries and hatching egg collections.
Being able to run a small team of staff to meet their full potential.
Working closely with the hatchery manager to achieve the best performance from the hatchery.
Aiding Daily operations when needed
Cover absence of assistant hatchery manager
Arrange movements from site to farm
Aiding with daily/weekly plan for eggs
Skills Needed

Hatchery experience (preferred)
Planning experience (preferred)
GCSE (Maths and English)
Driving licence
Ability to work under pressure.
Flexible working ability
Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:

Group and site induction.
All relevant risk assessments and safe working procedures are reviewed and to current methods.
Hazards and near miss reporting training.
