We are looking for someone who is a strong team player and enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is able to provide an effective and efficient secretarial service to the team.

The role is based in the main Children’s Hospital and you’ll be joining a friendly, collaborative team who value initiative, attention to detail and a positive approach to a busy and varied workload. You will be speaking with patients, families and healthcare professionals so great communication is key with a courteous telephone manner.

You will be working in a busy department with other secretaries and will need the ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

The successful candidate will need to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. You should also have experience of proofreading and editing as you will be preparing patient correspondence.

We offer a mix of home and office working, along with a flexitime arrangement to support your work-life balance.

If you are passionate about supporting patient care and thrive in a busy environment, we would love to hear from you.

Interviews will take place in person at the Children's Hospital. This role requires an on-site presence and cannot be carried out entirely remotely.
