Are you looking for an administrative post with a difference? If the answer is yes, then we may have the perfect post for you!
We are looking for an experienced and organised administrator with a professional and positive ‘can do’ attitude.
You will work with a range of providers and assessors in our Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team to protect vulnerable adults who lack the capacity to make decisions for themselves.
This is a really rewarding role within a busy business support team and you will need to continually deal with urgent situations and prioritise your workload accordingly to meet deadlines.
It is an exciting and varied role in which you will build up a specialist knowledge and understanding of the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards system. Full training around this aspect will be provided in-house and your duties would range from dealing with enquiries, taking telephone referrals, data entry, monitoring and tracking cases and producing a wide range of documentation.
Exceptional communication skills are essential and you will be required to work with the organisation’s in-house computer system (SystmOne) along with Microsoft Office; with particular emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel.
The organisation offers a very attractive holiday entitlement of 30 days (Pro Rata) in addition to 8 Bank Holidays per annum. The working pattern has some flexibility although it would preferably include working until 17:00 Wednesday through Friday.
For further information and an informal discussion please contact:-
Gemma Green (Business Services Manager) on Telephone 0300 330 2862
