Teaching Assistants – Primary & Secondary Schools (UK Experience Required) - Manchester

TeacherActive are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants with experience supporting pupils in UK primary or secondary schools. Whether you’re looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or longer-term roles, we’d love to hear from you.

The role may include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

  
  

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

  
  

• Providing targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs

  
  

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

  
  

• Supporting behaviour, routines, and safeguarding expectations

  
  

  We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school (primary or secondary)- essential

    
    

  • Are confident supporting learning and behaviour in the classroom

    
    

  • Are reliable, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running

    
    

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people

    
    

    A Level 2 or 3 Support Work in Schools/ Teaching Assistant/ Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is desirable, but not essential.
