Millfield Prep School is seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Drum Kit Teacher to join our vibrant music department on a self-employed basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic musician and educator with a passion for inspiring young people aged 6–13. The successful candidate will have the skill to teach both beginners and advanced instrumentalists with equal enthusiasm and creativity.
Experience of performing and teaching some aspects of orchestral percussion would be advantageous, though not essential.
Approximately 1.5 to 2 days of work per week, with occasional opportunities for additional work at school concerts and productions.
We place great value on our pupils’ first experiences of music and are looking for a teacher who can communicate a genuine passion for music and nurture a lifelong love of learning and performance.
