Summary

We're looking for a Senior Project Information Coordinator (Document Controller) to join our team delivering a large new build medical facility in Edinburgh. Initially based in our Stepps office with some flexibility to work from home the role will become site based in 2027 in the EH16 area.



Location: Stepps / Edinburgh

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week - Monday to Friday

What will you be responsible for?



The role of Senior Information Coordinator will focus on adopting our information management process on the assigned project from 2nd stage bid through to onsite delivery and handover, ensuring compliance with industry / Kier standards, focusing on ISO 19650, and helping to deliver against client requirements



Your day to day will include:

-Managing the CDE for the lifecycle of the project in line with Kier procedures and ISO1950 standards.

-Manage and host training sessions for new users of the project CDE (currently Viewpoint), either with groups or on an individual basis, as required

-Act as the main point of contact for ongoing support and coaching, including third parties such as client teams, designers, and subcontractors for Asite

-Provide ongoing maintenance of project file naming protocols with the Senior Information Coordinator and project team, in line with Kier protocols and ISO 19650

-Fully understand the project protocols, effectively communicate, and educate all stakeholders, ensuring they are strictly adhered to

-Validate check and curate all incoming and outgoing project documentation to the CDE including receipt, classification, verification, registry, distribution, and retrieval

-Configure and prepare status reports on workflows, sample submissions, TQs, RFIs, other reportable data and user activity to inform digital dashboards

-Attend meetings both on site and in the office to allow engagement of team and stakeholders

-Provide resources for information coordinators duties for holiday/sickness, as applicable

-Be proactive in maintaining relationships with project team, stakeholders, and functional management and work as a collaborative member of the team, facilitating the sharing of knowledge and best practice to the wider business.



What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Information Coordinator is great for you if you can demonstrate below:



-Experience of working on construction and / or engineering projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources, preferably within a tier one environment

- Competent experience with EDMS, Asite and / or 4 Projects Preferred.

-Competent with the Microsoft 365 suite of tools, specifically Excel, Teams and SharePoint

-Able to convey security permissions to stakeholders

-Ability and willingness to train others

-Driving license
