Summary
Are you a Manufacturing Leader who loves the 'Project' side of Production?
We are currently partnering with a leading technical manufacturer to find a Project Production Manager who thrives at the intersection of engineering precision and operational delivery.
This isn’t your typical "keep the line moving" role. This is a high-visibility position where you will take total ownership of medium-to-large-scale projects, coordinating everything from the initial Bill of Materials to the final Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with the customer.
The Challenge
Our client needs a "bridge-builder" - someone who can walk into a room of Engineers, Sales Ops, and Warehouse teams and get everyone pulling in the same direction. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you’ll be the person ensuring that complex, high-value orders don’t just get built, but get built perfectly and shipped on time.
What’s in it for you?
• End-to-End Ownership: You aren't just a cog in the machine; you manage the entire project lifecycle within the production environment.
• Leadership: You’ll lead and mentor a team of Team Leaders and Operators, shaping the culture of your shifts.
• Complexity: If you enjoy highly regulated industries and technical documentation (ISO 9001), you’ll find the work here deeply engaging.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a professional who stays calm when the schedule gets tight and who views a complex production plan as a puzzle to be solved. Specifically:
• Experience: in a production management or project-led manufacturing role.
• Compliance Savvy: You live and breathe ISO 9001 standards.
• Technical Mindset: You can spot an error in a BOM from a mile away and enjoy the "nitty-gritty" of technical specs.
• ERP Proficiency: If you’ve used Microsoft Dynamics, that’s a big advantage.
The Ideal Profile
You likely have a degree-level education and a proven track record of managing resource allocation in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you are proactive. You don’t wait for delays to happen; you see them coming and pivot the team before the deadline is at risk.
Benefits
£65000, Pension, Health Cover, Profit & Performance Bonus
