I am a lady in my fifties with a visual impairment, looking for a reliable and supportive Personal Assistant to work 6 hours per week, ideally in the mornings, although some flexibility is possible.
I have a wide range of interests, including cycling, animal welfare and reading, and I enjoy being out and about. I am looking for someone who will support me to live an active, independent life and build my confidence in different areas.
The role will include:
Supporting me to become more familiar with local routes when out and about
Helping me find and attend local groups that reflect my interests
Reading my post to me and supporting me to respond where needed
Supporting me to increase my skills, confidence and repertoire in the kitchen
Helping me to ensure I look clean and tidy
Identifying and supporting with tasks around the home to help keep my flat clean and tidy
About you:
You must be a car driver with access to a vehicle
Friendly, patient and reliable
Happy to support someone with a visual impairment
Enjoy being out in the community and encouraging independence
This role would suit someone who is practical, supportive and enjoys helping someone build confidence and skills while maintaining an active lifestyle.
I live with my elderly Mum, who will not require any support from the PA.

Additional requirements
