Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that follow the KS1 National Curriculum.

  • Create a stimulating and safe classroom environment that encourages independent learning.

  • Use a variety of assessment strategies to track student progress and inform future planning.

  • Lead and manage classroom support staff to ensure all children receive targeted assistance.

  • Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers to support children's development at home.

  • Participate in school meetings, training, and extra-curricular activities as part of the wider school team.

Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1.

  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, including Phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc. or Little Wandle).

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners.

  • A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching.
