We have an exciting opportunity for a Programmes Facilitator to join the HMP Wandsworth Substance Misuse Psychosocial Interventions Service who has the skills and experience to engage our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.


PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PRISON BASED ROLE AND IS SUBJECT TO PRISON SECURITY CLEARANCE.


Where: HMP Wandsworth, Heathfield Road, London, SW18 3HU

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 FTE (dependent on experience)

Allowances: Inner London Weighting (£4,133.14) (based on full time hours, paid pro rata if part-time)

Contract Type: Permanent


*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About the Service:

The Change Grow Live Pathways to Recovery Service is the Substance Misuse Psychosocial Interventions provision at HMP Wandsworth. It is a specialist service based within the prison that is committed to supporting service users to tackle their drug and alcohol use, reduce reoffending and lead happier, healthier lives. Whether their aim is to stop using substances completely, to cut down, or for harm reduction information, we are here to support that journey. HMP Wandsworth is a Cat B local prison in Wandsworth, South West London. It is a dynamic and busy service due to population of prisoners at HMP Wandsworth being predominantly on remand.


About the role:

The focus of the role is delivering and developing group interventions for the prisoners engaging with the Psychosocial Substance Misuse Service, using evidence based practice and covering the most appropriate issues to the service users. This includes but is not limited to the Foundations of Rehabilitation programme, SMART Recovery and pod working. This role is based full time in HMP Wandsworth.


About you:

We’re looking for an innovative facilitator to join our team, with experience of delivering group work, who is committed to providing the best solutions to our service users. Someone that will proactively promote engagement in group interventions. While working within a dynamic environment, being flexible and adaptive to changing priorities is key.
