Summary
Are you a skilled PCV Mechanic looking for a new challenge? We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our maintenance team based in Glasgow, ensuring our fleet of buses and coaches stays in top condition and on the road.
Main responsibilities include:
- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on PCVs (buses and coaches)
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform MOT preparations and safety checks
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and standards
Requirements:
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working with PCVs or HGVs
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (PCV licence desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Full Category D PCV licence (if you don't have it, we can train you through our in-house training school)
