An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Neurosurgery - Oncology service at Southmead Hospital, Bristol. Patient administration underpins the patient journey and supports clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and can make a real difference to the patient experience. Effective and efficient patient administration supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality and by making the best use of capacity and resources.

The post holder is responsible for providing administrative support, appointment booking and waiting list management for the Neurosurgery Department (including outpatient consultant-led appointments and nurse led appointments) at North Bristol Trust. They cover day to day management and resolution of clinic bookings which require face to face and telephone contact with patients, clinicians, nurses and administrative staff. The post holder delivers a high quality administration service, ensuring that patients' pathways reflect the requests of the clinical team.
