We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Service Manager to join our management team within the Rotherham Care Group to manage the
delivery of high quality, evidence based care as part of our Rotherham Services.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate effective communication skills, managerial expertise and a flexible problem-solving approach.

The ability to work well with all members of multi-disciplinary team is essential at the Acute Directorate across Swallownest Court /Woodlands Unit. The post-holder will be expected to work closely with the Acute Matron to ensure that a responsive service is delivered across the acute pathway whilst identifying that excellent evidence based clinical care is of the highest priority.

The candidate will have evidence of excellent organisational ability and be able to demonstrate highly developed specialist knowledge, managerial expertise and a desire to lead change for the continued improvement of the Acute Directorate.

The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of designated clinical services and ensuring that those teams are
performing in terms of patient outcomes, metrics, measures and targets.

They are also accountable for making sure that the Trust’s strategy is executed locally and that standards of safety are maintained at all times.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care that is consistent with the values of the organisation.
