For further information please refer to the job description & person specification To use advanced clinical judgement to plan, implement and evaluate care for patients throughout their cancer pathway In collaboration with the existing Clinical Nurse Specialists, to formulate and/or revise relevant policies and to regularly review this following change/implementation. To work within the procedures and policies of the Trust. To discuss in-depth all treatment options, including research based treatments for Skin and Melanoma with sensitivity, knowledge and expertise to enable patients to make an informed choice. To act as patient advocate when appropriate and respecting patient confidentiality and privacy with respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and requirements. To contribute to the training of nurses and to develop their skills to enable the relevant level of nursing intervention for the patient as assigned by the Clinical lead or Matron for Cancer Services.
