Summary

We are looking for an trainee psychotherapist with experience working with children under 5 years of age and their families to work in the CAMHS Inner London Under 5s Team.

The post involves seeing children and their families in family hubs and in the CAMHS clinic, as well as supporting the clinical work completed by the team.

You will receive supervision individually from experienced clinicians in the service.

You should be interested in offering focussed psychodynamic work to cases where there is a degree of complexity, as well as providing consultations to the networks supporting children and their families

The Inner under 5s team is a team composed of psychotherapists. The team is based in the Kensington and Chelsea CAMHS clinic as it is part of the larger CAMHS families, which is comprised of psychotherapists, Psychologists, Behaviour Analysts, Psychiatrists, CBT practitioners, DBT practitioners, Nurses and Art Psychotherapists.

The post involves working with children and their families and this is primarily a face to face role given the nature of the work and the age of the children.

You will receive supervision from experienced clinicians in the service.

It involves liaising with psychological therapy and community mental hub colleagues from the MDT, as well as third sector partners in the Borough.

We meet weekly for clinical meetings. You will attend MDT referral meetings and contribute across the board to our work.
