An exciting opportunity has arisen to welcome application from an individual with a strong foundation in Emergency Preparedness Resilience & Response (EPRR) to join the EPRR team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
The postholder will be responsible for working within the EPRR team on designing and delivering specialist EPRR training and advice. The post holder will be expected to utilise research to deliver on new and changing approaches in delivery of training.
The postholder will support, or in certain circumstances, take the lead on key projects. Some of which may contain sensitive and/or contentious information that will need to be dealt with in line with Trust policies. This information could come from various sources such as Government bodies, emergency services, the military, security services etc.
The post holder will be have joint responsibility for ensuring that the trust remains in a continued state of preparedness, ensuring we are able to respond to any incident both unscheduled or planned.
The job will also include offering expert advice, guidance, information and support to Trust staff on all matters relating to the EPRR function and elements surrounding Business Continuity.
The successful post holder will support the delivery of a wide range of training to all levels of professionals within the trust.
