Summary
Job Title: Exams Officer
Actual Salary: £1,659 - £1,835 Based on hours and weeks worked.
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £35,852 - £39,649 (CLF Grade E) Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent, Term time only, plus inset days.
Hours of work: 0.2 per week
Start: TBC - Early February 2026
Are you seeking an opportunity to lead an exam process, supporting an academy and team during busy exam periods:
To be successful in the post, we are looking for an Exams Officer who will ensure the organisation and delivery of internal and external examinations within an Academy, and in accordance with local and national guidance. You will be responsible for supporting all students throughout the examination process, ensuring accuracy and data compliance at all times.
This position requires flexibility as there are various exams held throughout the academic year, these usually fall within November, January and March. The Summer exams are held in May and June. There are also mock exams for Years 9, 10 and 11 at different times throughout the year.

About Snowdon Village Academy:
Snowdon Village is a multi-site, cross-phase alternative provision that sits within the heart of the CLF. The Snowdon Village sites include The Nest, Engage, Bristol Futures Academy and City School.
Our primary aim is to meet the needs of children and young adults who have social, emotional and mental health issues by offering a suite of alternatives to mainstream school. Members of Snowdon Village may engage with the provision in a variety of ways, from long-term residential care to short-term, part-time alternatives which complement their existing school experience.
