Summary


Thrive LDN is a citywide partnership to ensure all Londoners have an equal opportunity to good mental health and wellbeing, hosted by the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust as part of Transformation Partners in Health and Care. The post-holder will be responsible for project managing a new, three-year mental health and climate action project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.


This is a fixed term contract (FTC) for until end of November 2028. The ideal post holder will have a passion for public mental health and climate action, and will be required to have and maintain specialist knowledge of these fields (for example, climate change theory, climate mitigation and adaption methodologies, the public health evidence base on the effects of climate change on mental health, evidence of effective interventions and evidence gaps, climate action campaigns and movements).


The post-holder will be responsible for providing planning, co-ordination, direct project management and monitoring to the project to ensure project outputs are delivered effectively, to time and that outputs align with requirements of the grant.




• Lead one or more projects within the programme ensuring they are planned,managed and evaluated in a timely and effective way to ensure high quality of delivery across their portfolio of projects

• Be responsible for leading the review of a discrete area of acute and specialist care, interpreting evidence and national guidance and formulating into new models of care and action plans to bring about the implementation of these models
• Responsible for identifying and reporting on issues and risks and undertaking mitigating actions
• Take responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness,reliability and appropriateness of data ensuring quality decisions can be made
• Take a lead for analysis and reporting of specific target areas as agreed
• Be responsible for supporting the Programme Manager and Director of Programmes in the production of strategic reports and briefings for the project’s Senior Responsible Officer, Clinical Lead, London Transformation Group, ICBs, NHS England (London), and other stakeholders as appropriate
• Be responsible for assisting the Programme Manager and Director of Programmes in the development of the team and the setting of its strategic direction, identifying future opportunities for pan-London projects as they arise
• Be responsible for deputising for the Programme Manager to ensure high quality of delivery across their portfolio of projects as required.










AsProject Manager you will work as part of a dynamic team to support Transformation Partners in Health and Care (TPHC) to transform care for patients. This will include providing project management support to the delivery lead of a programme to ensure outputs are delivered effectively and to time, and that all pan-London outputs align with, and support, local transformation programmes across Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and Strategic Planning Groups.  This role is flexible, and you will be allocated to projects that match your skill set providing the opportunity to work across a range of projects in both health and care. We will work with you to ensure that you are supported in developing your career whilst having the opportunity to work on some of the most strategic and transformative programmes in London.
