About Us:

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking team supporting Children’s Services Operational Teams. Our team is dedicated to excellence and we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as an Administrator Apprentice. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Business Administrator (Level 3) qualification, through a Welsh Government Approved Training Provider. Upon successful completion, you will secure a permanent Administrator role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks - Managing and organizing files and records - Answering phone calls and responding to emails - Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings - Supporting the team with various projects and tasks

Should you successfully meet the requirements of the appointment over the career graded training period, you will take up the permanent position on full pay.
What will you be paid?
The initial two year training period the pay is proportional to this grade and is set out as follows: 1st year Career Graded Trainee - 80% of the normal salary for the position, based on the bottom point of the job evaluated scale, subject to National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage provisions.
2nd year Career Graded Trainee - 90% of the normal salary for the position, based on the bottom point of the job evaluated, scale subject to National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage provisions.
3rd year Administrator (training period successfully completed): 100% of the normal salary for the position, based on the bottom point of the job evaluated scale, subject to National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage provisions.

This position has a requirement for a Standard DBS Check.
