Inpatient Medical Consultant
Fixed term: 9month
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Medical Consultant Team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
This post represents an exciting opportunity to join one of the pioneering integrated care organisations in the country which is transforming the way care is delivered to improve the health of the population it serves.
The post holder will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement that aims to deliver consistent, high-quality care for patients under the care of the Medical Division. Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a consultant led service that delivers the highest standards of care.
Part time or flexible working (e.g. weekend and evenings) will be considered.
You should be on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council or be in receipt of the Certificate of Specialist Training (CCT) within six months of the date of interview.
Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust to appoint a consultant on a 10 Programmed Activity (PA)
The post holder will undertake inpatient clinical activity across surgical and escalation wards housing medical outliers, and lead on developing structured models of care for this patient group.
To ensure robust mechanisms are in place to monitor and evaluate the quality if care delivered to medical outliers, identifying areas of success and addressing any deficits in care delivery. To also provide a visible and supportive leadership role that aligns with the Trusts values and behaviours.
