Registered Children’s Home Manager (Dual Registration – 2 x 3-Bed EBD Homes)
Location: Nottingham (NG9)
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annum
Bonuses: Up to £7,000 per year (OFSTED and occupancy-related)
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead the dual registration and operation of two newly opening 3-bed EBD children’s homes in Nottingham (NG9).
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to oversee the full registration, development, and leadership of two services, playing a pivotal role in establishing high-quality, child-centred care for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

OFSTED registration required for both homes (not yet submitted)

Focused on delivering outstanding care, stability, and positive outcomes for young people
Key Responsibilities-
Lead and manage the dual OFSTED registration process for both homes and prepare for inspections

Recruit, lead, and develop two high-performing staff teams

Ensure both homes remain fully compliant with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

Promote safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments across both services

Oversee occupancy levels, budgets, and performance for each home

Work collaboratively with placing authorities, external professionals, and senior leadership
-
Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for children and young people
Requirements-
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent

Proven experience as a Registered Manager (or experienced Deputy ready to step up) within EBD children’s homes

Strong working knowledge of OFSTED requirements and registration processes, including dual or multi-site management

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of care

A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people
