Role Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Facade Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on a wide range of high-quality building projects. The role involves the design, coordination, and delivery of facade and building envelope systems from early concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer facade and building envelope systems including curtain walling, cladding, glazing, rainscreen, and roofing

  
  

• Carry out structural, thermal, and moisture performance assessments

  
  

• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and drawings

  
  

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and specialist suppliers

  
  

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements

  
  

• Provide technical input during construction, including site inspections and issue resolution

  
  

• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements

  
  Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline

    
    

  • Proven experience in facade or building envelope engineering

    
    

  • Strong understanding of facade materials, systems, and construction methods

    
    

  • Familiarity with relevant standards, regulations, and testing requirements

    
    

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

    
    

  • Strong communication and coordination skills

    
    Desirable Skills

    • Experience with thermal modeling and performance analysis

      
      

    • Knowledge of sustainability and facade-related energy efficiency strategies

      
      

    • Experience working on complex or high-rise projects

      
      

    • Professional registration or working towards chartership
