Role: Project Services Co-Ordinator
Location: Glasgow HQ / Hybrid
Duration: 6-months

Main purpose of Job:
The Project Services Co-ordinator is responsible for providing a high quality, consistent service across projects within the Onshore Development team of Scottish Power Renewables (SPR). This involves supporting all onshore projects in the development phase.
Accountabilities:
• Deliver project support services in support of renewables projects, to meet the requirements of the project teams.
• Manage the provision of accurately reporting / forecasting to ensure project teams and senior management are fully aware of the true status of the projects.
• Ensuring changes to projects are captured, controlled and reported.
• Ensuring finances for projects are captured, controlled and reported.
• Contribute to the identification, analysis and management of risks and issues and identify their impacts on projects.
• Lead issues of a process or programme nature that require escalation to a more senior level.
• Ensure services are carried out in accordance with agreed SPR businesses processes.
• Manage and analyse reporting activities across the Onshore Development team.
• Provide ad hoc support to Onshore Development team processes when required.
• Develop QA procedures.
Complexity and Creativity
• At short notice, act upon and deliver ad-hoc project requirements without losing focus on ongoing regular workload requirements.
• The job holder will need to remain focused on the key deliverables for each project whilst being adaptable to work within a flexible matrix operation, this will require working on several projects simultaneously.
• Ability to critically review existing processes and assess where improvements can be made in terms of efficiency of process and / or value of deliverable.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to complete/finish tasks.
• Must be able to provide a high-quality level of support across a number of projects running in parallel at varying stages.
• Must be a problem-solver with a growth mindset
Judgement and decisions:
• Advise Project managers and the wider team on the impact of risks and issues and the viability of solutions recommended.
• Ensure all recommendations are documented and sufficient due diligence exists to support decisions.
• Defend and stand by recommendations but also recognise when alternative solutions may be preferable.
• Present decisions and recommendations to the Project Services Manager in a structures and robust manner.
• Regularly review project services processes and documentation for continued suitability, seeking consensus amongst customers and implementing agreed improvements.
Minimum Criteria:
Essential
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Training/qualification in project management preferred
• Project based experience within selected discipline and/or direct experience of working within a project environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy of work.
• Interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience supporting multiple projects.
Desirable:
• Degree qualification preferred but minimum qualification to HND level.
• Be comfortable dealing with and presenting to management.
