Crynodeb
The post will be based predominantly at the Aintree University site, our trauma site and Broadgreen Hospital our state of the art elective centre. You will be responsible for routine and emergency admissions of orthopaedic patients participating in a partial shift rota for orthopaedics. Day to day work will be varied including ward work, trauma and major trauma on call, outpatient clinics and theatre sessions. We encourage trainees to operate under supportive supervision to develop their surgical skills. A number of the consultants are deeply involved in educational roles all the way from undergraduate level to registrar level and pride themselves on training the next generation of surgeons.
