We are inviting applications for the role of Interim Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (Professional Services). This is a key position within the Financial Planning & Analysis team, working with colleagues to provide financial business partnering support across the Professional Services directorates.
As Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (Professional Services), you will be responsible for:
- Providing financial business partnering support for the Professional Services Directors and their teams, including advice and insights, analysis, business case support and building financial literacy
- Delivering accurate and timely management reporting
- Managing budgeting & forecasting activities for the Professional Services directorates, working with stakeholders to meet the requirements of the University's annual planning and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Overseeing reporting and forecasting activities for the University's capital portfolio
- Deputising for the Deputy Director of Finance (Planning & Analysis) when required.
You will lead a team of finance professionals and play a key role in ensuring the University's Professional Services directorates deliver a wide ranging set of activities in a financially sustainable way.
We are looking for a professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with an understanding of accounting in a University context and strong expertise in customer service and finance business partnering, influencing at a senior level, analysis and complex problem solving and managing a large and varied workload.
