Summary

At Ark ICT, we are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled 2nd Line Support Technician to join our team! We provide a broad range of IT services to schools and businesses across the East Midlands, and we need someone with a solid technical background to help deliver top-tier support to our clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing 2nd Line technical support to a diverse range of clients, including schools and small businesses. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Operating Systems, manage and maintain Office 365 environments, and handle client escalations from 1st Line Support. Additionally, you will provide remote support and monitor system health to prevent service disruptions. Documenting technical issues and solutions, offering advice on best practices, and ensuring excellent customer service are also key aspects of the role.
Experience in supporting Schools ICT environments, familiarity with virtualization technologies, and experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or InTune would be an advantage. Knowledge of backup solutions, IT ticketing systems, ITIL processes, scripting or automation, and cybersecurity awareness are also beneficial. Attention to detail, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and a willingness to learn new skills and being part of a team are also important.

Based from our office in Pinchbeck, Spalding 5 days a week, 40 hours across a week, Monday to Friday.
