Deputy Clinical Nurse Specialist - Paediatric Haemoglobinopathies Band 6
Would you like the opportunity to work in the paediatric Specialist Haemoglobinopathy Team (SHT) under Evelina London Children’s Hospital?
You will be working as part of the paediatric Haemoglobinopathies team, supporting the care of children and young people across ambulatory care settings, in-patient, emergency department, transition to adult services and liaising with local services and aspects of health and social care.
The expansion of the service has been provisioned as part of NHS England’s initiative to:
• enhance and extend care for sickle cell patients by delivering high-quality nursing care to paediatric patients with sickle cell disease and other Haemoglobinopathy disorders
• continue to provide, participate and increase access to apheresis services for all eligible children

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and enhance the provision of high-quality nursing care to paediatric patients with sickle cell disease and other Haemoglobinopathy disorders. To participate in the expansion of the apheresis service.
We Looking For:
• Proven post-qualification experience in paediatric nursing.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and organisational skills.
• Enthusiasm and motivation to contribute to a specialist service.
• Knowledge of Haemoglobinopathy disorders and apheresis is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
