Nepacs is recruiting an Outdoor Specialist Therapeutic Instructor to join our new Bee Outside project, supporting children and young people affected by imprisonment or the care system.
You will deliver 1-1 and small-group therapeutic sessions in outdoor environments,
helping young people build confidence, emotional resilience and positive coping strategies.
Working across schools, outdoor venues and prison visitors’ centres, you will create safe, supportive spaces for young people aged approximately 6–20 to explore their experiences, develop skills and access evidence-based support such as the Thrive Approach.
We are looking for someone empathetic, patient and non-judgemental, with experience of supporting young people and a genuine interest in outdoor learning. Strong communication skills, emotional resilience and the ability to build positive relationships are essential.
Outdoor qualifications are welcome but not required — full training will be provided.
