Summary

Paradigm Trust is looking to appoint SEN Teaching Assistants for pupils with severe learning difficulties at Ipswich Academy.

We are seeking teaching assistants for our special education unit, preferably with a SEND background, although this is not essential as training will be delivered relevant to experience and the cohort of children.

The Trust

When you join Paradigm, you’ll be joining a Trust that is committed to developing and sustaining great schools to make the biggest difference for pupils. It’s a place where we work together, helping each other to make sure every child can reach their potential.

We are only able to do this through the hard work of our staff, and so we value them accordingly. At Paradigm, you’ll be supported with your career goals, with ongoing professional development and numerous opportunities to progress on your career path. Staff health is extremely important to us, and as part of Paradigm, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits that are designed to support your wellbeing, as well as a highly competitive rewards package.

If you have a passion to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

What you will offer

We are looking for individuals with the dedication to promoting effective and inclusive education for all pupils and an understanding and ability to establish clear boundaries in relation to pupils' behaviour. You will demonstrate a commitment to collaborative working and have effective communication and interpersonal skills.

A flexible, patient and hardworking approach to work will be required with the ability to work as part of a team.

What we will offer

You will be joining a friendly and engaging workplace with benefits including:

Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
A strong commitment to professional development
We strive to be a family friendly employer
Employee counselling service
Cycle to work scheme

As a Trust, we are committed to reducing unnecessary workload and are outcomes-driven; flexible working options can be accommodated.

All applicants must have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and this will be assessed as part of the recruitment and selection process. If you are successful, you will be required to comply with the Trust’s safeguarding policies and procedures. An Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required for all posts. All completed applications must be submitted by the closing date and time detailed above.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity with Adam Wilding, Principal, Ipswich Academy, this can be arranged by contacting the school on 01473 320413.
