Prospero Teaching is looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant for an Ofsted "Outstanding" Primary school in Ipswich.
The school is a popular four-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive Early Years leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff. The position is only open for Level 3 CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- January 2026 start
- Duration: until the end of the academic year July 2026 (could extend to permanent, depending on performance)
- Contract type: Contracted to Permanent
- Full time (Monday to Friday)
- £92 - £105 per day* depending on experience
- Hours - 8:15am - 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Holds CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare
- Minimum 1 year experience in the UK
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
