Summary
About the Role:
50-year-old woman is seeking a reliable, caring, and self-employed Personal Assistant to provide practical and motivational support with daily living and health-related goals. She has a mild learning disability and unspecified mental health.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support her to engage with an online weight management programme, including accessing online information and participating in WhatsApp meetings.
• Assistance with food shopping, meal planning, and support with cooking to improve health and manage weight.
• Help with opening and managing post.
• Support with organising appointments, keeping track of dates and times, and attending appointments when required to ensure she is supported.
• Monitoring medication (prompting and checking).
• Domestic support including changing the bed and maintaining the flat’s condition.
• Support her to access and participate in social activities when needed.
• Provide support in a respectful way that is aligned with her Christian beliefs.
About You:
• Kind, patient, reliable, and encouraging.
• Experience in a similar PA or support role is desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable supporting healthy lifestyle changes.
• Organised and able to keep track of appointments and routines.
• Respectful and supportive of Christian beliefs and values.
• Able to work on a self-employed basis.
