Personal care assistant required for young female
Our client is looking for a personal assistant to support their daughter, who requires support with personal care and accessing the community. She has Autism, complex needs and is limited in verbal communication.
Due to the provision of personal care, our client has the right to request a carer of a specific sex. This vacancy is restricted for women only.
The successful candidate should be safety-oriented, understanding, physically able to manage a strong child and confident monitoring behaviour. They should also be energetic, outgoing, flexible and reliable.
Our client’s daughter is very energetic and enjoys active play such as play areas, swimming, arts and crafts. Our client’s daughter uses reins and a specialist pram while in the community, for safety reasons.
The role is 3 hours per week during term time and 6 hours per week school holidays, paid at £12.21ph. There is potential for the hours to increase in time. The role is based in Scunthorpe.
Experience preferred. Driver preferred.
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund.
