For further information, please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification To provide entry level support to the PR and Communications team to implement the public relations and external and internal communications strategies for The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, The Royal Marsden Private Care and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. To support the team, under supervision, to raise the external profile and understanding of the work of the Trust, Private Care and Charity, enhance their reputation and promote awareness of their aims and achievements in ways which are appropriate for their different audiences (including patients, families, staff, supporters, governors and members and others within the wider NHS, and the general public). To assist the PR and Communications team in proactively promoting The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, The Royal Marsden Private Care and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity via national, regional press and social media to drive awareness and support. To assist the communications team with reactive media enquiries by acting as a point of contact for the media, receiving enquiries via email and ensuring they are prioritised and subsequently logged.
