Your Role in Action

As the Business Development Manager for our Interpreting Division in the UK Public sector, you will be at the forefront of expanding our reach and impact. Your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships, identifying business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across local government, NHS and central government.

  • Strategic Opportunity Identification: Innovate and identify high-value opportunities in the UK Public sector interpreting market.
  • Revenue Maximisation: Translate strategic conquests into sustainable revenue streams, aligning with annual contract values.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline for dynamic progression towards exceeding targets.
  • Triumphant Achievements: Strive for triumphant outcomes, setting new standards in revenue and profitability.
  • Capture Plan Development: Craft and maintain Shipley Wins-worthy capture plans aligned with sales targets.
  • Proposal Excellence: Dive into RFP/Tender/Proposal missions with precision for competitive triumphs.
  • Client Relationship Mastery: Master client procurement, offering impactful solutions for interpreting challenges.
  • Business Landscape Insight: Navigate competitors and understand market dynamics for informed decision-making.
  • Portfolio Growth: Cultivate greatness within allocated accounts for substantial growth.

The Perfect Match: Your Skills & Talents

  • Proven track record in business development within the interpreting services industry, with a specific focus on the UK Public sector.
  • In-depth understanding of the language needs and challenges faced by public sector organisations.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in Language Services is desirable but not essential.
