We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join East Riding College in the role of Learner Services Advisor. If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!
About the role
We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Learner Advisor to join our well-established team. The position is part of a well-functioning, friendly, fast-paced, diverse and interesting, key front-line service. The successful candidate will work closely with current and potential learners, visitors and colleagues from across the organisation to provide high quality information, advice, guidance and responsive support.
Other duties will include:
* Undertaking reception and switchboard duties
* Dealing with queries by phone, email, letter and in person
* Maintaining records
* Processing admissions and financial support applications
* Delivering a high-quality front-line service to internal and external customers
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service, as well as strong organisation and administrative skills.
Candidates should also have:
* Level 2/GCSE Maths and English
* Prior experience working in an office or administrative role
* Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility and adaptability to work requirements
* ICT competency
