We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident ‌Trust Performing Arts Technician‌‌‌‌ to join our team at the Laurus Trust on a full time basis (37 hours per week).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education, whether you're considering a career in teaching or already have experience working with young people.
As a Trust Performing Arts Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the creative and technical aspects of our Performing Arts provision across the Trust. Your responsibilities will include:
Set Design & Stage Construction: Assisting with the design and build of sets for shows, workshops, exams, performances, and promotional events.
Technical Support: Providing lighting, AV, and technical assistance for events, assemblies, and performances.
Curriculum Support: Supporting the delivery of courses and performances within the Performing Arts Departments across Laurus Trust schools.If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you.Job Purpose To deliver high quality support and technical production services for drama, music and other performance activities across Laurus Trust schoolsKey Skills & ExperienceSound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent and minimum 2 A-levels or equivalent.
