Reporting to: Direct Works Manager
Are you a skilled Joiner looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting 6-month fixed-term opportunity within our Direct Works Services team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality joinery repairs and improvement works for our clients.
What you’ll do:
• Carry out joinery works within the Association’s own stock, focusing primarily on responsive repairs and void contracts.
• Undertake a variety of repairs and improvement tasks, ensuring a professional and customer-focused service.
What we’re looking for:
• Approved trade qualification and proven experience in joinery, ideally within reactive maintenance.
• Experience in the repair and replacment of window and door ironmongery/ components would be a strong advantage.
• Self-motivated, confident, and able to work both independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Awareness of current legislation and health & safety practices.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
