We are recruiting a Workshop Operative on behalf of our client, a specialist company that converts vans into refrigerated vehicles. This is a hands-on role based in a workshop environment and would suit someone with practical carpentry or power tool based experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Converting vans into refrigerated vehicles
  • Carrying out carpentry and fitting work within vehicle interiors
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Following drawings and instructions accurately
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment

Requirements:

  • Previous carpentry or workshop experience (essential)
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive starting pay of £12.50 per hour
  • Day shifts only - no evenings or weekends
  • Monday to Friday working pattern 0800-1630
  • Permanent role after a 12-week probation period
