Summary
We are recruiting a Workshop Operative on behalf of our client, a specialist company that converts vans into refrigerated vehicles. This is a hands-on role based in a workshop environment and would suit someone with practical carpentry or power tool based experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Converting vans into refrigerated vehicles
- Carrying out carpentry and fitting work within vehicle interiors
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Following drawings and instructions accurately
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Requirements:
- Previous carpentry or workshop experience (essential)
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
What's on Offer:
- Competitive starting pay of £12.50 per hour
- Day shifts only - no evenings or weekends
- Monday to Friday working pattern 0800-1630
- Permanent role after a 12-week probation period
