As the Remote Enforcement Examiner (Regulatory Compliance Officer), you will work closely with a team of Enforcement professionals to support DVSA’s aims to prevent, enable and respond. Your main purpose is to assess and follow up on roadside offences, analyse data to make informed decisions on compliance information, collaborate with the wider team, internal and external stakeholders, respond to enquiries from the public and handle complaints.
You will perform a range of duties, present new operator seminars, ensuring that accurate and thorough assessments are completed, of operators, approved tachograph centres and MOT testing stations, assessing their processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and highlighting areas of concerns across the Enforcement spectrum. This will include conducting technical analysis of tachograph data, driver’s hour’s information and maintenance systems assessments, and associated tasks in relation to the light vehicle MOT testing and national bus compliance schemes.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring and leading on remote enforcement schemes
- Conducting Desk Based Assessments (DBA’s) of operators, approved tachograph centres and MOT testing stations, to assess their processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Analysing data and information provided by operators
- Presentation of new operator seminars
- Working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
