Are you an experienced Paralegal looking for a rewarding role within local government? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Housing Repairs Team, providing vital legal support to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support on housing repair matters, including disrepair claims and related tenancy issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and case files.
  • Liaise with internal teams, external solicitors, and stakeholders to progress cases effectively.
  • Assist in preparing cases for court hearings and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage caseloads within agreed timescales.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Paralegal, ideally within housing law or property-related matters.
  • Strong understanding of housing legislation and disrepair claims.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
