An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to provide effective administrative support as required and to ensure the smooth running of administrative systems within the school.

Salary: Grade 4, scale points 5 - 7, £21,507 to £22,197 per annum (actual salary)

Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will:
Support teaching staff with routine administration.Process invoices on Hoge softwareCarry out the administration for school admissions, creating new student records onto Bromcom for school places.Be responsible for updating the portal for headcount to receive pupil funding.Action free school meals applications and enter on the portal.Produce lists/information/data as requested, e.g. attendance data, pupil information lists etc.Maintain and publish the school’s website as necessaryUndertake reception duties, answering general telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in/out visitors in accordance with school procedures.Assist with pupil first aid and welfare duties, looking after sick pupils and liaising with parents/carers and staff.Provide general clerical and administration support, including photocopying, filing, completing forms, responding to correspondence, typing letters/word processing, other IT based tasks, binding etc.Take notes at meetings as directed.Facilitate effective communication with parents using various multimedia channels such as text messaging, email and My Child at School app.Undertake any other administrative procedures as directed by the School Business Manager or Senior Leadership Team.Further information regarding the post can be found in the job description and person specification.
