Job Advert

We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Recruitment & Onboarding Advisor to join our People Services team at Torus. This
is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys managing end-to-end recruitment activity and
delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience. This role is offered on a two-year fixed-term contract.

Working closely with the Recruitment & Onboarding Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, efficient
and compliant recruitment and onboarding service across the Group. You’ll manage recruitment campaigns for a range of roles,
advise hiring managers on best practice, and help shape and improve our recruitment processes and employer brand.

This is a hybrid working role, combining office-based and home working. The team comes together every Monday at our Liverpool city
centre office, with additional attendance required at our Stonebridge, St Helens or Warrington offices in line with business
needs.

What You Will Be Doing:

* Manage end-to-end recruitment for allocated roles, from advert to offer, ensuring agreed timescales and SLAs are met.
* Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practice, selection methods, shortlisting and interview
approaches.
* Draft engaging job adverts and support sourcing activity, including social media campaigns in partnership with Communications
and Marketing.
* Screen and shortlist applications fairly and inclusively, conducting pre-screen interviews where appropriate.
* Coordinate and support interviews, including preparing interview packs, advising on assessment tools and participating in
panels when required.
* Complete and oversee pre-employment checks, ensuring full compliance with Right to Work and internal policies.
* Support managers to plan and deliver effective onboarding and induction for new starters.
* Ensure all recruitment and onboarding documentation is completed accurately and stored appropriately.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
* Oversee recruitment administration completed by the People Coordinator, providing guidance and quality assurance.
* Ensure recruitment activity complies with employment legislation, safeguarding requirements, data protection and internal
policies.
* Monitor agency usage, IR35 compliance and supplier performance.
* Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, efficiency, candidate experience and value for money.
* Contribute to recruitment system improvements and process reviews.

What We Are Looking For:

* Demonstrable experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple roles simultaneously, including delivery in
fast-paced, high-volume environments, while consistently meeting agreed timescales and service standards.
* Someone who can provide clear, professional advice and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practice, selection
methods and interview approaches, and confidently manage expectations in pressured situations.
* Comfortable working at pace, managing competing priorities, large vacancy volumes and short-notice recruitment demands,
responding positively to changing workforce needs.
* Ability to make practical, informed recommendations when roles are hard to fill, volumes are high or timescales are pressured.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate records, compliance and audit readiness, even when handling high volumes of
candidates and vacancies.
* Experience supporting the monitoring of agency placements, ensuring agency partners operate compliantly, adhere to agreed terms
and provide accurate documentation.
* Ability to monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, attrition or agency usage to support effective resourcing
decisions.
* A positive, solutions-focused attitude, with resilience and professionalism in a busy, high-demand operational environment.
* Motivated to contribute to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, systems,
candidate experience and value for money.

Interview Process:

* Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a face-to-face, competency-based interview on Friday 16 January at our
Stonebridge office in Liverpool.

Additional Information:

Each successful applicant will be required to complete the following pre-employment checks prior to a start date being agreed:

* Right to work verification
* Qualification certificate check
* 2x Completed references
* OH Health Questionnaire – Fit For Work
* DBS check (if required for role)
* Completion of all new starter documentation including signed T&C’s

Please note, we reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of applications.
