Our client, a well-respected educational institution located in Grays, Essex, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.

As a Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide individualised support to students with special educational needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans for each student
- Providing one-on-one support to students during lessons, helping them to understand and engage with the curriculum
- Assisting students with their daily activities, including personal care and mobility, as needed
- Monitoring and recording student progress, and regularly communicating with teachers and parents
- Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Participating in relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

To be considered for this rewarding position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field (e.g. , Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support student success
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
- A valid DBS check and the right to work in the UK

Our client offers a competitive salary range of £90 to £105 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. The position is full-time, with hours typically following the school day schedule.
